Great Christmas Gifts: Reusable Paper Towels

I am currently making reusable paper towels as I pass the time. I can make them to attatch by velcro or plastic snaps. They are all christmas patterns. These would make great christmas gifts or festive napkins for your home. They cut down on paper towel waste and are of course way more absorbant. They are all made of cotton and terrycloth. I am selling them for $30 per roll. Let me know if you are interested and If you prefer snaps or velcro and I  can send you pictures of the patterns I have.

Today I made some new laundry detergent it's a vanilla sandalwood scent, can't wait to use it. I also made some cookie mix in a jar and tomorrow I plan to make hot cocoa in a jar along with 7 sets of holiday print un-paper towels. Planned to make liquid dishwasher detergent but couldn't find one of the ingredients I needed.

I am going to try this recipe as the powdered dishwasher detergent i made turned into one big hard clump, i of course broke it up and am going to use it myself but i wouldn't deem it worthy enough to sell to anyone.

Nesting

What a day it has been! I must really be getting ready for this baby to be here. Today i ordered some more cloth diapers cottonbabies.com. These diapers are awesome, i have tried several different ones and these are my favorite so far.
Next I decided I wanted to try to get the old urine stains out of my bed "from the previous kids". inspired-housewife.com. I tried this recipe which was pretty close to my own stain remover recipe but mine contains more soap so it was turning the mattress blue. I am going to try it again tomorrow or as soon as i get a chance, the parts where i got it evenly distributed look pretty good.
Lastly, I decided to rearrange all of my kitchen cabinets. I was exhausted by the time i was about half way done with that.
Oh and I forgot to mention i went to to Fareway and got groceries in the middle of all that only to discover after we got home that my little man was not feeling well.

Ainsworth Craft Show

Getting ready for our first craft show this Saturday at the Ainsworth Elementary School. Can't wait to showcase our first line of great homemade detergents and cleaning products. Our All Purpose Cleaner smells like lemonade and would be safe to drink but it wouldn't taste so good. Works amazing on any surface i've tried so far including mirrors!!!! Hope to get off to a great start this Saturday. Also planning to show at The Local Makers' Market: Holiday Craft Market on Saturday November 17th @ Iowa City Moose Lodge.
